Job Description Enlighten is looking for a motivated Frontend Developer who is passionate about building intuitive applications that meet the needs of our users. Work is performed in a hybrid environment with a great team. #LI-DS1 #Mid-Senior Level Essential Job Responsibilities Assist with the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of web applications. JavaScript / CSS / HTML coding and code review. Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to build holistic user experiences. Help define and interact with REST based API’s.

Troubleshoot customer reported issues in applications and providing support. Write unit tests and conduct quality assurance testing. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Clearance Requirement: Must obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, but not required on day one; U.S. Citizenship required. 5+ years of experience with front end software development/engineering and a Bachelors in related field; OR 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. Knowledge or experience with JavaScript and one or more web application frameworks (ie: Vue / React / Angular / Backbone) or similar demonstrated competency.

Familiarity with Git or other version control software. Comfortable working on a *nix command line. Self-motivation; Ability to multi-task and prioritize open issues / tickets accordingly. Problem solving skills and ability to review information and compile data appropriately as needed. Ability to obtain a DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certification (i.e. Security+) within 60 days of hire. Must be able to work in a hybrid environment, spending an average of 1-2 days per week at our Columbia, MD office. Flexibility is essential to adapt to schedule changes as needed.

Preferred Requirements Previous experience with a data warehouse is a plus.
