Cybersecurity Engineer with Security Clearance

Amentum is seeking Cybersecurity Engineer to support our U.S. Department of Energy contract. Positions will be based in the Washington, D.C area.

Work Schedule: 5 days, 8hrs Essential Responsibilities: Provide a wide range of Cyber Intelligence (CI) services to deliver timely, actionable, and relevant threat intelligence on hostile nation-states, cyber adversaries, and criminals seeking to conduct malicious cyber activities against U.S. energy sector partners.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• 5-12+ years designing, implementing, or securing enterprise IT and operational technology environments.
• Experience with cloud security, Zero Trust, RMF, NIST 800-53, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and system hardening.
• Experience supporting Authority to Operate (ATO) packages and continuous monitoring.
• Security+, CISSP, Azure Security, AWS Security, or equivalent certifications Security Clearance Required:

Hired applicants will be able to purchase company stock and receive a performance discretionary bonus. The base salary range for this position is $126k to $200k. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
