Urgent requirement for an End User Computing (EUC) Engineer - Contract - Australia (Adelaide, Perth & Brisbane)

Requirements

Provide end-user level IT support services at the Customer Offices ( Adelaide, Perth & Brisbane) .

The role focuses on delivering onsite and remote support for end user devices and software, supporting IT activities, and ensuring a high-quality user experience under the supervision of the EUC Lead.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle and resolve end-user issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide end-user services including troubleshooting, guidance, and technical assistance
  • Deliver onsite break/fix support for hardware and software issues
  • Coordinate with and escape hardware-related issues to third-party service providers
  • Provide remote support to users as required
  • Diagnose and resolve laptop and desktop-related issues
  • Deploy and install software on user workstations
  • Deliver desk side (in-person) support to end users
  • Install, configure, and maintain customer-owned end-user devices and software
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, service requests, and resolutions
  • Support IS project activities as assigned by the EUC Lead, Ensure adherence to IT policies, procedures, and security standards
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Relevant IT certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation) are desirable
Required Experience:
  • 2-4 years of experience in an EUC, desktop support, or IT support role
  • Experience providing onsite and remote technical support
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11)
  • Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 applications
  • Hardware troubleshooting (laptops, desktops, peripherals)
  • Experience with software deployment and endpoint configuration
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT service management processes; experience working with third-party vendors/service providers

Duration: 06 Monthsand possible extension
