Our client, an international real estate fund from the Nordics is looking to add an Investment Analyst to their Strategic Transactions Team in Frankfurt.
The Strategic Transactions team drives the firm's strategic, complex and structured situations, joint venture setups, platform building, and corporate buyout transactions (M&A and public-to-private transactions) with a sector- and geography-agnostic investment scope.
They invest across real estate, credit and venture capital to make cities more liveable, sustainable and people-centric. You will join a high-performing and collaborative team where curiosity, ownership and continuous learning are at the centre. They offer early responsibility and the opportunity to work on complex, high-impact investments from day one.

What the job involves
- Evaluate investment opportunities and leads
- Produce the analytical foundation for evaluating investment opportunities including material preparation for key decision-making forums and financial modelling
- Contribute to the development of business plans for portfolio companies and work closely with management teams to create operational value
- Support portfolio management activities related to existing and new investments
- Create investment memoranda to the investment committee
- Support analysis and execution of strategic initiatives and business development topics
- Build relationships with advisors, brokers, and counterparties
- First full-time work experience, ideally in real estate private equity, private equity, investment banking or consulting
- Excellent academic background, ideally within finance, economics, real estate investment or relevant engineering or law degrees
- Strong financial modelling skills and outstanding analytical skills as well as sector understanding
- Ability to communicate effectively with management teams
- Fluent in English and German
