Lead C&I Commissioning Engineer

Astute's Power Team are currently recruiting for a Lead C&I Commissioning Engineer to join the EPC Contractor on the new build Energy from Waste Turbine project based in Scotland. The day rate for the Lead C&I Commissioning Engineer position is from £500 to £550 per day outside of IR35. Role responsibilities and key skills for

the role:

Develop and manage the C&amp;I commissioning strategy, system breakdown, test sequences, procedures, ITPs and commissioning schedule.<br />Review C&amp;I design documentation and lead FAT activities for DCS, SIS, BMS and package control systems, ensuring punch items are closed out.<br />Lead pre-commissioning activities including walkdowns, handovers, instrument calibration, loop checks, cable/termination checks and I/O verification.<br />Manage SAT/SIT and verify interlocks, permissives, sequences, alarms and safety instrumented functions against design requirements and BS EN 61511.<br />Lead C&amp;I activities through hot commissioning, including first fire, boiler/turbine commissioning, control loop tuning, CEMS, grid compliance, reliability and performance testing.<br />Ensure safe and compliant delivery, manage control system changes, complete turnover/as-built documentation and train operations and maintenance teams for handover.Location, day rate and timeframe of the Lead C&amp;I Commissioning Engineer position: Scotland<br />£500 to £550 per day outside IR35<br />Immediate start date<br />9 months INDPOW Astute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
