Senior Cloud Consulting IT Project Manager - Federal Civilian

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Sr. Delivery Consultant to lead complex AWS cloud engagements for US Federal Civilian customers. In this role, you will design secure, scalable architectures, drive large-scale migrations and modernization, and guide agencies through cloud adoption best practices. You will collaborate closely with customer and AWS teams, manage delivery risks, and ensure measurable business outcomes. You'll mentor technical teams, produce high-quality artifacts, and leverage AWS's innovative culture to help federal customers modernize mission-critical systems at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex AWS cloud projects for US Federal Civilian customers
• Design secure, scalable AWS architectures aligned to agency missions and compliance needs
• Drive large-scale migrations and application modernization to AWS services
• Engage with technical and business stakeholders to define scope, outcomes, and roadmaps
• Manage delivery risks, timelines, and quality of deliverables
• Create detailed design documents, runbooks, and implementation plans
• Mentor customer and AWS technical teams on cloud best practices
• Coordinate with AWS service teams, partners, and internal stakeholders
• Implement automation and infrastructure as code for repeatable deployments
• Support cost optimization, security, and operational excellence across solutions
