Per Diem Lactation Consultant

Responsible for implementation and monitoring of WIC breastfeeding program.  Serve as breastfeeding manager (a position designated by the State WIC office).  Supervise breastfeeding staff.  Ensure compliance with WIC regulations and hospital policies.

Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree related field and two to three years of previous work related experience required.  IBCLC certification required.  Work requires analytical ability to collect information from diverse sources and apply professional principles in performing various analyses and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems.
