Pay Range: $34.7hr - $36.62hr

Job Overview:

The candidate is passionate about hands-on laboratory ownership and takes pride in building, maintaining, organizing, and improving complex engineering environments. The candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and thrives on solving problems across hardware, operating systems, firmware, networking, automation, and test equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of post-silicon validation labs.
• Provision, configure, and support Windows and Linux systems used for validation and automation.
• Perform platform bring-up and maintenance including BIOS, firmware, driver, operating system, and hardware updates.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot validation infrastructure including test platforms, instrumentation, thermal equipment, networking, racks, power distribution, and automation systems.
• Execute and support automated power and performance validation activities.
• Manage lab inventory, assets, equipment tracking, and issue tracking.
• Partner with validation, firmware, architecture, software, IT, and lab support teams to maintain highly available and productive validation environments.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in post-silicon validation, lab operations, platform engineering, system administration, or hardware validation.
• Strong Windows troubleshooting skills; Linux experience highly desired.
• Experience with BIOS, firmware, driver, and OS deployment and maintenance.
• Experience with lab instrumentation, data acquisition systems, power and thermal characterization equipment, and system debug tools.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Strong problem-solving skills across hardware, firmware, software, and infrastructure.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-site engineering environment.
