Employee Relations Advisor
- Pay Rate: £18.42 - £20.59 per hour (PAYE)

- Job Type: 12-month Temporary Contract
Cadent Gas are seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to serve as the critical first point of contact for stakeholders, particularly managers handling Case Management activities across Gas Distribution in the UK. This role involves providing timely and informed advice on various policies and ensuring that investigations related to potential cases of gross misconduct are robustly completed and progressed to hearings efficiently.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide coordinated and comprehensive administrative support to the ER & Cases Manager on a range of detailed, complex, and confidential ER-related issues.
- Prepare papers, reports, and presentation materials as directed by the ER & Cases Manager.
- Assist in dedicated ER-related projects under the direction of the ER & Cases Manager to support the wider ER ambition.
- Maintain progress of the relevant ER Plan, track changes, summarise regular progress updates, and distribute the information as appropriate.
- Support the ER & Cases Manager in developing ER policies as directed.
- Coordinate the extraction of MI from records and systems, manipulate/analyse and present this, and support in the subsequent interpretation of the information.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in case management or a similar role within a structured corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of ER policies including Disciplinary, Grievance, PIP, DBH, Drugs and Alcohol, and Sickness Absence.
- Excellent administrative, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in managing multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret data effectively.
