Job description

GeoStabilization International (GSI), Access Limited, and RoadGuard together form a leading infrastructure solutions platform dedicated to protecting people and strengthening critical infrastructure across North America and New Zealand.

GSI is the premier geohazard mitigation firm specializing in emergency slope stabilization, landslide repair, grouting, and micropiles through innovative design-build delivery. Access Limited brings over a century of steep-slope expertise and operates North America’s largest fleet of spider excavators, delivering complex rockfall and geotechnical solutions in the most challenging environments. RoadGuard, founded in 2024, unites industry-leading roadway safety companies providing guardrail, bridge railing, highway signage, fencing, and specialty fabrication services.

Across all our businesses, we are driven by innovation, extreme ownership, technical excellence, and a relentless commitment to measurable results that improve safety and infrastructure resilience.

At this time, GeoStabilization International does not offer employment visa sponsorship. To be considered for this role,
candidates must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now or in the future. We are unable to
accept candidates on H-1B, OPT, CPT, TN, or other sponsored work authorization statuses.

As GSI grows through acquisition and integrates new systems and teams, the accuracy of project financials is one of the strongest levers the company has. This role sits where accounting meets operations. You will be the person who makes the project economics visible, trustworthy, and actionable for Project Managers and finance leadership.

This is a role for someone who treats a number as a question to be answered, not a figure to be filed. You will hold the ledger to a standard that makes it auditable, and you will use it to help Project Managers see margin erosion while there is still time to act.

What You Will Own

  • Job cost integrity. You own the reconciliation of labor, materials, and subcontractor costs across your active jobs. Every dollar should trace back to its source, and every variance should have an explanation.
  • Billing and contract alignment. You own timely, accurate project billings that match contract terms. Billing errors are margin errors, and you treat them that way.
  • Revenue and forecast partnership. You work directly with Project Managers on revenue recognition, work-in-progress, cost-to-complete estimates, and margin projections. Your forecasts should change decisions, not just describe outcomes.
  • Change order control. You track change orders from field to ledger and pursue unsubmitted work so that revenue earned in the field is recovered in billing.
  • Audit-ready financials. You keep project financials accurate, auditable, and compliant with accounting policy, so that they hold up to internal review, external audit, and leadership scrutiny.
  • Process and systems improvement. You identify where project accounting is manual, slow, or fragile, and you design and implement the improvement. Experience with Viewpoint Vista ERP is a strong advantage here.
  • Cross-functional partnership. You serve as a trusted partner to field teams, finance leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders, translating complex job financials into clear, usable guidance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience (GL, cost, or project-based preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and critical thinking.
  • Comfort collaborating across teams, including operations and project leaders.
  • Willingness to learn project accounting concepts such as WIP, change orders, and forecasting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in construction, engineering, or other project-driven industries.
  • Familiarity with Viewpoint Vista ERP.
  • Exposure to job costing, billing, or revenue recognition.
  • A clear interest in growing into a business-partnering or forecasting role.
US pay range for this role.
$75,000—$90,000 USD
