Oracle APEX Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA- onsite 5 days/ week

Duration: 6-month contract, with potential for extension

Required / Must-haves:

• 7 to 9 years of strong Oracle APEX development experience (Healthcare experience is a plus).
• Complete modernization and migration of all Legacy Oracle Forms Applications to APEX
• Front-end development experience within Oracle APEX,
• Strong PL/SQL development skills
• Experience developing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience integrating Oracle Fusion Applications with internal and third-party systems.
• Ability to design and build OIC orchestrations, integration flows, scheduled processes, and file-based integrations.
• Experience working with common OIC adapters such as REST, SOAP, Database, FTP/SFTP, and Kafka.
• Design, develop, and optimize APEX applications from the ground up, including interactive reports, dashboards, forms, and workflow automation supporting EA governance and reporting needs
• Write efficient, secure PL/SQL and SQL, including stored procedures, packages, triggers, and performance-tuned queries.
• Use fully automated GitHub-based DevSecOps processes for Oracle APEX applications to ensure consistent deployments, daily backups, automated repository maintenance, and improved traceability.
• Create and implement automated, continuous security scanning processes for APEX applications, APIs, and cloud-hosted assets to meet FISMA, NIST, and ARS requirements.
• Senior-level hands-on developer who is actively coding and troubleshooting complex technical issues, not solely serving in an architect or management role.

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, information systems, or a related technical discipline is required.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience building production APEX applications, including native components and custom PL/SQL logic
• Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL performance optimization
• Experience with REST integration, interactive grids, and dynamic actions in APEX
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
