40 hours (Monday to Friday)

DCS Engineering are currently supporting a leading infrastructure organisation with the recruitment of a Site Engineer to join a major civil engineering and infrastructure programme in Bury St Edmunds.

This is a site-based opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer to play an important role in the delivery of complex infrastructure works, working alongside an established project team across areas including substations, earthworks, roads, drainage, structures, piling and foundations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Carrying out setting out and engineering control activities across multiple work areas.
• Supporting the delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure works.
• Assisting with quality assurance inspections and documentation.
• Producing and maintaining engineering records and site reports.
• Supporting works involving roads, drainage, earthworks, structures, piling and foundations.
• Coordinating with construction and management teams to ensure works are delivered to programme.
• Using engineering technology and digital reporting platforms.
• Supporting technical problem solving across site operations.
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality performance.

The Candidate:

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer or similar.
• Experience carrying out setting out activities.
• Experience within civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities, highways or major construction projects.
• A valid CSCS Card.
• A qualification in Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A full UK Driving Licence.
