Role summary 

The single hands-on Sonata person sitting with the customer for the whole build. This person writes code, runs the AI-assisted workflow, and owns the day-to-day relationship with the customer's dev leads. This is not a coordinator role — the person must be hands-on from day one. An eight-week run has no ramp-up room, so the person must already live and breathe AI-based SDLC. 

Must have 

• 12+ years in software engineering, with recent hands-on delivery (not an architect who has stopped coding). 

• Working command of AI-assisted SDLC: spec-driven development, context engineering, agent and skill authoring. 

• Practical Claude Code experience — Client has standardized on it. 

• Strong .NET 10 and Azure: App Services, Static Web Apps, containers and AKS. 

• GitHub (target state) and Azure DevOps; Jira for backlog intake. 

• Able to stand in front of a customer daily, take hard questions and keep an eight-week clock honest. 

Good to have 

• Terraform and Kubernetes in a regulated or high-throughput logistics setting. 

How we will judge fit 

• Show us an agent or skill you wrote yourself and explain the design choices. 

• Walk us through how you would take a vibe-coded prototype to production on Azure in two weeks. 

• Tell us about a short engagement that slipped and what you did in the first 48 hours.
