Job Description

Kapsons LLC is hiring a Workday Payroll & Time/Absence Functional Analyst to support payroll operations and system optimization for a growing enterprise client. Contract-to-hire, 3 days/week onsite.

Location: Candidates must be based near one of our client hub markets, including San Diego, CA, Minneapolis, MN, or the Washington, D.C. area (Arlington, VA) — additional locations available.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and optimize Workday Payroll and Time & Absence operations
  • Partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, and IT to deliver scalable solutions
  • Drive enhancements, automation, integrations, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure accurate, compliant payroll processing including year-end and off-cycle activities
  • Maintain data integrity, EIBs, reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance
  • Support M&A payroll integration, data migration, and process alignment
  • Support Workday implementations, releases, testing, and system roadmap

Requirements:

  • Hands-on Workday Payroll & Time/Absence functional experience
  • Experience with EIBs, reporting, and compliance/audit support
  • Able to work onsite 3 days/week at one of the listed hub locations
