Job Description

Network Administrator | Pearl Harbor, HI | Hybrid

We're hiring on behalf of a leading technology and solutions provider that plays a critical role in supporting national security missions. This organization is known for its innovative approaches to modernizing complex IT infrastructures and ensuring the integrity of vital communication networks for government agencies.

The Role

  • Perform engineering tasks for the design, implementation, and integration of network changes and sustainment.
  • Conduct analytical research, design development, and other tasks to align with customer specifications.
  • Maintain network systems to ensure 99% or better system uptime and connectivity.
  • Ensure efficient delivery of contract capabilities using industry standards and repeatable processes.
  • Mitigate risks, control costs and schedule variance, and manage large-scale projects.
  • Perform analytical tasks including hardware and software design and implementation.

What You'll Need

  • BS degree and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience, or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
  • DoD 8750 certification at IAT level II (Security+ CE or equivalent).
  • Experience analyzing VLAN, routing, IP addressing, and sub-netting.
  • Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, F5 appliances, and Splunk systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting and configuring IP networks using BGP, ISIS, OSPF, or Static routing.
  • Experience with Cisco (ESR and ASR) and/or Juniper routers and ports and protocols.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance.
