Job description

Job Summary (List Format)

Handle auto physical damage and liability claims, including coverage investigations, disputed liability, and comparative negligence.
Independently manage a portfolio of auto claims from initial investigation through final resolution and settlement.
Make repair-related claim decisions and settlements, including total loss evaluations and negotiations.
Acquire and maintain required insurance adjuster licenses within specified timelines.
Mentor, coach, or serve as a technical resource to other claims professionals as needed.
Utilize claims management systems (such as Guidewire Claim Center) to document and process claims.
May require successful completion of a job-related assessment.
Preferred candidates have a bachelor's degree, active multi-state adjuster licenses, and/or US military experience.
