JDE Financials Functional Consultant – Franchise & Intercompany

We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financials Functional Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Intercompany Settlements and Franchise-related business processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of JDE EnterpriseOne Financials, particularly General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Intercompany Accounting, along with practical experience supporting franchise businesses and franchise accounting processes.

This is a part-time remote engagement averaging approximately 15 hours per week, making it an excellent opportunity for a senior JDE Financials SME who can provide functional expertise, troubleshooting, and business-process guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional expertise and ongoing support for JDE EnterpriseOne Financials.
• Work closely with Finance, Accounting, Franchise Operations, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve functional issues.
• Provide hands-on expertise in Intercompany Settlements and multi-company accounting.
• Analyze and troubleshoot intercompany accounting transactions across companies and business units.
• Support:
  • Intercompany journal entries/Due-to / Due-from accounting/Intercompany settlements/Multi-company transactions/Intercompany balancing/Reconciliation/
  • Intercompany allocations and adjustments
• Support JDE General Accounting (GL)functionality, including:
  • Chart of Accounts/Business Units/Automatic Accounting Instructions (AAIs)/Period/month-end close
• Provide functional support for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes related to franchise and intercompany transactions.
• Analyze and support franchise accounting and financial processes, including franchise fees, royalties, billing, receivables, and related accounting transactions.
• Understand the financial flow between corporate entities, franchisees, and operating companies.
• Assist with franchise-related financial reporting, reconciliation, and month-end close activities.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financials.
• Strong experience with JDE General Accounting (GL).
• Hands-on experience with JDE Intercompany Settlements is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of multi-company accounting and Due-to/Due-from transactions.
• Experience with JDE AP and AR.
• Franchise industry/business-process experience is highly preferred and may be mandatory depending on the client's requirements.
• Understanding of franchise-related financial processes such as:
  • Franchise fees/Royalties/Franchise billing/Franchise receivables/Revenue/fee accounting/Franchisee transactions
