Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced Charles River Development (CRD) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a large-scale implementation of the Charles River Development platform within an Asset/Wealth Management environment. The SME will provide deep functional expertise across CRD workflows, work closely with business and technology stakeholders, and guide the implementation team through solution design, configuration, integration, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide deep functional expertise in Charles River Development (CRD) across front-to-back investment management workflows.
• Support implementation and optimization of CRD OMS/EMS, trading, portfolio management, compliance, and related workflows.
• Work closely with Trading, Investment Management, Portfolio Management, Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams to understand business requirements and translate them into CRD solutions.
• Define and validate CRD business processes, workflows, configurations, and functional requirements.
• Provide guidance on CRD integrations with custodians, brokers, market data providers, downstream/upstream systems, and enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate with Charles River and State Street/vendor teams on product capabilities, integrations, defects, and implementation decisions.
• Review functional specifications, solution designs, configuration documents, interface requirements, and process flows.
• Identify gaps between existing business processes and standard CRD capabilities and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Support data mapping, conversion, integration, and reconciliation activities related to CRD implementation.
• Provide functional guidance during SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production readiness.
• Review defects, determine business/functional impact, and work with technical teams to drive resolution.
• Support cutover, go-live, stabilization, and post-production activities.
• Serve as the primary CRD functional point of contact for business stakeholders and implementation teams.
• Provide subject matter expertise to resolve complex implementation issues and dependencies.
• Support documentation, knowledge transfer, training, and operational readiness.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in investment management technology, asset management, wealth management, or capital markets.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Charles River Development (CRD).
• Strong understanding of CRD OMS/EMS and front-to-back investment workflows.
• Experience with trade lifecycle, portfolio management, compliance, order management, execution, and settlement workflows.
• Experience with CRD implementations, upgrades, migrations, or major enhancements.
• Strong understanding of integrations between CRD and custodians, brokers, market data, portfolio accounting, and downstream systems.
• Experience working with State Street and/or Charles River vendor teams is highly desirable.
• Strong business analysis, requirements gathering, process mapping, and functional documentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred

• Experience with large-scale global CRD implementations.
• Experience supporting multiple asset classes and investment strategies.
• Knowledge of APIs, interfaces, data mapping, and integration architecture surrounding CRD.
• Experience with Agile and/or hybrid implementation methodologies.
