Job Overview

Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee WMS-related projects from requirements gathering through implementation and ongoing system improvements.

In this role, you will work closely with warehouse operations, internal business stakeholders, and external software vendors to ensure technical solutions align with operational needs and are delivered on time and within scope.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in technical project management and software engineering, with hands-on experience coordinating third-party software vendors, managing system requirements, and supporting software implementation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with warehouse and business teams to gather, document, and prioritize WMS requirements.

  • Serve as the primary point of coordination between internal stakeholders and external software vendors.

  • Define and manage project scope, deliverables, milestones, timelines, and acceptance criteria.

  • Coordinate vendor activities, review deliverables, and manage project changes throughout the implementation lifecycle.

  • Monitor project schedules, identify potential risks, and proactively address delays or technical challenges.

  • Organize and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system functionality meets business requirements.

  • Coordinate software releases, system readiness, and post-deployment issue resolution.

  • Support future WMS enhancements, system integrations, and process improvements.

  • Provide regular project updates, progress reports, and risk assessments to management and stakeholders.

  • Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams across different locations and time zones.

Required Qualifications

  • Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English is required.

  • 3+ years of experience in technical project management, IT project management, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of professional experience in software engineering or software development.

  • Proven experience coordinating software projects with third-party vendors, including scope management, schedules, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.

  • Experience with business requirements gathering, backlog prioritization, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Strong understanding of software development processes and project delivery methodologies.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing a Warehouse Management System (WMS), ideally through a complete implementation lifecycle from initial requirements to go-live.

  • Familiarity with warehouse processes, including receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.

  • Experience collaborating with distributed teams across the U.S. and Asia.

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum, or other relevant project management certifications.
