Outside Sales Representative

Tague Lumber is looking for an enthusiastic Outside Sales Representative who is passionate about building relationships and delivering outstanding customer service. In this role, you'll work closely with existing customers while actively developing new business opportunities, serving as a key point of contact and trusted partner. Success in this position comes from creating positive customer experiences, understanding customer needs, and fostering long-term relationships that drive growth and loyalty.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work together with your inside sales team to close sales while providing excellent customer service

• Build strong vendor relationships

• Become familiar with Tague Lumber Inc.'s Product mix and computer system, procedures and sales philosophy

• Quote and bid construction projects

• Follow up on all quotes with an emphasis on closing the sale

• Read blueprints

• Travel to job sites

• Continuously communicate with customers, suppliers and vendors to ensure that they are satisfied with the quality of products and services

• Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, rules and guidelines

• Maintain positive work environment by behaving and communicating in a professional, courteous, respectful and ethical manner with customers, clients, co-workers and supervisors

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills

• Ability to stay organized and effective in a fast-paced environment

• Valid driver's license required

• Ability to pass drug screening, physical, and background check

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
