Our robust product portfolio includes world leading MCUs, SoCs, Analog and power products, plus Winning Combination solutions that curate these complementary products. We are a key supplier to the world’s leading manufacturers of electronics you rely on every day; you may not see our products, but they are all around you.

In this position, you’ll take a central role in the development of new high-voltage GaN products. You will have a strongly cross-functional experience by interfacing with internal wafer foundry, quality and marketing departments and external OSATs. You will help our team allocate the materials and coordinate the movement of multiple GaN engineering lots through wafer fab, packaging OSAT, testing OSAT and qualification. You’ll help us draft test plans and analyze test results, gaining insight into GaN products and technologies. You’ll help us define development strategies and take critical decisions, closely interacting with California, and with the fabrication facilities in Japan and Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the movement of multiple GaN product engineering lots through wafer fab, assembly, and testing. Ensure timely project execution from start to finish.
  • Allocate materials to meet qualification and customer sampling plans.
  • Analyze on-wafer and in-package test results. Ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Drive root cause investigation for performance, quality or yield issues.
  • Generate reports for internal and external communication.
  • Maintain up-to-date GANTT charts with project schedule and negotiate priorities when needed.
  • Track and communicate project status, key results, risks, and problems.

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Master’s degree + 3 years of experience).
  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing flow (wafer fab, probe, packaging and testing).
  • Proficient in data manipulation and analysis skill. Familiar with JMP and MS Office.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional time management skill.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable. Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Expertise on GaN products and technologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with reliability physics and failure analysis is a plus.
  • Familiarity with JEDEC and AEC-Q101 qualification standards is a plus.
