About the Job- We are looking for an experienced PostgreSQL Technical Engineer to join one of our enterprise client engagements. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PostgreSQL , SQL along with experience working in fast-paced enterprise environments.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database administration and development.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, configuration, and internal processes.
• Expertise in SQL, query optimization, indexing, joins, transactions, and execution plans.
• Experience with PostgreSQL functions, stored procedures, triggers, views, and constraints.
• Knowledge of database backup and recovery using PostgreSQL utilities such as pg dump, pg restore, and pg base backup.
• Experience with replication, WAL management, and point-in-time recovery (PITR).
• Understanding of database performance tuning, vacuuming, auto vacuum, and statistics management.
• Experience managing database users, roles, privileges, authentication, and security.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
• Experience with database monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Understanding of ACID properties, concurrency control, locking, and transaction management.
