What You'll Do

  • Coach mill and converting teams on lean manufacturing tools and push for their disciplined, ongoing use.
  • Run quarterly loss analyses that pinpoint the biggest operational gaps, then tie site action plans to the highest-value fixes.
  • Spearhead savings and cost reduction projects grounded in Lean and Six Sigma practices.
  • Mine loss data on a recurring basis to surface fresh improvement targets.
  • Lead problem-solving as the site's go-to resource, walking teams through difficult issues with the DMAIC framework.
  • Join forces with cross-functional groups to embed process gains that last.
  • Champion a site culture built on continuous improvement, ownership, and operating discipline.
  • Align improvement priorities with leadership so every initiative supports business goals.
  • Measure, analyze, and report KPIs that show how well each initiative is performing.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 5–6 years of relevant experience.
  • Solid grasp of Manufacturing Operations and Lean Principles.
  • Track record leading Continuous Improvement initiatives within a Paper Manufacturing setting.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methods, including DMAIC problem solving.
  • Required proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated strength in Team Coaching, building systems, and contributing effectively as part of a leadership team.
  • Hands-on, results-focused style with the influence to drive Change Management across the organization.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred:

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Experience with Power BI or SAP.

Compensation & Total Rewards
