Recruitment Team Leader
Location: Derby (Hybrid - 1 day a week WFH)
Job Type: Full-time Permanent
Salary: 41,000 + car allowance
Reports to: Operations Manager

Our office based from Derby, East Midlands specialises in rail/rolling stock recruitment, we have a vast portfolio of clients in which we're extremely proud of, including industry leaders such as Alstom, Hitachi and Siemens to name only just a few.

The Role
As Recruitment Team Leader, you'll be responsible for managing and developing a successful recruitment team, delivering exceptional service to clients and candidates, and achieving ambitious commercial targets.
You'll lead from the front-driving business development, coaching your team, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring operational excellence across all areas of the recruitment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing recruitment team.
Drive new business development and identify opportunities for profitable growth within existing clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and candidates.
Set clear objectives, KPIs and performance expectations for the team.
Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, appraisals and performance reviews.
Recruit, train and onboard new team members.
Support the team in winning, managing and growing key client accounts.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, GDPR and company policies.
Monitor financial performance, budgets and gross profit.
Work collaboratively with internal departments including HR, Payroll, Finance and Credit Control.

About You
You'll be a confident leader with a proven track record in business development, who enjoys motivating others and delivering outstanding results - while recruitment experience would be beneficial, it's certainly not essential.

Essential Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience managing a successful sales team.
Strong business development and client management experience.
Track record of delivering revenue and profit targets.
Experience coaching and developing staff.
Skills
Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
Commercially minded with excellent negotiation skills.
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
