Salary: £41,177 – £46,579 per annum (SCP 29-34). Local Government Pension Scheme, generous annual leave allowance, Employee Assistance Programme, support for professional development

Stratford-upon-Avon is delivering an ambitious Town Vision through a unique cross-sector Strategic Partnership involving the Town, District and County Councils, the local MP, the BID, the Royal Shakespeare Company, Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, Stratford Town Trust and other key organisations. The Partnership is entering a pivotal phase, moving from vision-setting into active delivery and we are seeking a Programme Manager who can bring pace, structure and momentum to this next chapter.
This is a senior, outward-facing role that blends programme leadership, partnership coordination and funding brokerage. You’ll work directly with CEO-level stakeholders, elected members and senior officers to turn the Partnership’s priorities into funded, deliverable projects. You’ll coordinate Delivery Groups, track progress, escalate barriers, secure external funding and help shape a clear public narrative for the Partnership’s work.
Who we’re looking for
If you’re an experienced programme or partnership manager, confident driving delivery across matrixed, multi-partner environments where organisations bring differing priorities, skilled at building alignment and maintaining pace, and motivated by place-shaping, regeneration and community impact, this role offers a rare opportunity to make a meaningful difference in one of the UK’s most distinctive towns.
