SAP BTP Consultant - Dallas, TX

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Consultant to support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA 3PL implementation and DevOps transformation program. The consultant will design, develop, integrate, and manage SAP Business Technology Platform solutions while enabling CI/CD, automation, and cloud-native development practices across the SAP landscape.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in SAP BTP services, integrations, DevOps methodologies, and SAP S/4HANA logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities

· Design and develop solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

· Build and maintain integrations between SAP S/4HANA, third-party logistics (3PL) systems, and external applications.

· Configure and support SAP Integration Suite, Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, and Event Mesh.

· Develop applications using SAP Build, Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), and SAP Business Application Studio.

· Implement DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, transport management, and release governance.

· Monitor SAP BTP environments and support system reliability, availability, and performance.

· Collaborate with functional teams across EWM, MM, SD, TM, and logistics operations.

· Support application lifecycle management, code reviews, testing, and deployment strategies.

· Participate in solution architecture discussions and recommend cloud-native SAP development approaches.

· Perform root cause analysis and resolve production incidents related to integrations and custom developments.

· Support security, compliance, and governance standards for SAP cloud applications.

Preferred Qualifications

· SAP BTP or SAP Integration Suite certification

· Experience with 3PL or logistics operations

· Exposure to SAP EWM implementations

· Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies

· Experience in global onsite-offshore delivery models

Mandatory Requirements

· 8+ years of SAP experience with at least 3+ years of hands-on SAP BTP experience.

· Strong experience with SAP Integration Suite and DevOps automation.

· Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with external logistics systems.

· Strong understanding of cloud architecture and SAP best practices.

· Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.
