Manual Software Test Executor (Contract)

Job Description

The Manual Software Test Executor (Contract) will support quality assurance for advanced robotic systems. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of software systems through diligent execution of manual testing protocols. This role is fully in-person and can support up to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Execute defined test plans directly on robotic hardware, including daily smoke/sanity tests, regression testing for new software releases, and tests for new features.
• Proactively identify, document, and report software defects in a timely manner.
• Collaborate closely with development engineers to assist with root cause analysis of identified issues.
• Operate robotic systems for extended periods to gather reliability data.
• Adapt quickly to changes and incorporate new requirements into the testing workflow.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in quality assurance, robotics, automotive systems, or a related technical environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to create and maintain technical documentation.
• A proactive, curious, and independent approach to learning and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with Windows or Linux development environments, including basic command-line or shell scripting.
