Job Description

Job Summary

The Senior Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Functional SME leads solution design, functional configuration, testing, and production support across Oracle EBS R12 environments. Partnering closely with Finance, Procurement, and Operations stakeholders, you will drive scalable and compliant solutions across core modules (AP, AR, GL, PO, iProcurement, FA, CE, PA, and SLA).

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Design & Configuration: Lead end-to-end requirements gathering, gap analysis, Conference Room Pilots (CRPs), and functional documentation (BRDs, MD50 inputs); configure EBS modules in alignment with financial controls and audit requirements.

  • Cross-Module & RICEW Support: Validate workflows like P2P, O2C, B2R, and SLA accounting flows; partner with technical teams to guide and test RICEW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows).

  • Testing & Release Management: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles, manage defect triage, and support major releases, quarterly patching, and upgrades.

  • Production Support & Governance: Serve as the escalation point for complex functional troubleshooting across subledgers, SLA, and integrations; govern master data and ensure adherence to internal controls, audits, and Separation of Duties (SOD).

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between IT and business units, translating complex operational needs into clear functional requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required Experience & Skills

  • 8+ years of Oracle EBS Functional experience, with 3–5 years specifically on R12.2.x (12.2.12).

  • Deep functional expertise across core modules: AP, AR, GL, PO, FA, CE, PA, iProcurement, and SLA.

  • Strong grasp of accounting principles, procurement rules, and enterprise financial processes.

  • Proven experience driving EBS patching, upgrades, production cutovers, and writing functional specs (BRDs, test scripts, configuration books).

  • Familiarity with OIC-based integrations and interface-driven workflows.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting strict compliance, audit, and SOD governance standards.

  • Exposure to OCI-hosted EBS environments.

  • Prior involvement in large-scale ERP modernization programs.
