Project Manager

One of the UKs largest construction and property consultancy firms is looking for a Senior project Manager to work with a Blue chip client in the Education sector to Develop, plan and procure contractors to complete 4 separate construction refurbishment projects that will commence in 2027
You will be looking after a number of smaller projects, developing them through the early RIBA Stages. You will be involved from inception to completion, ensuring that the client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time, cost, and quality targets. You will be working closely with the client developing ideas, advising on processes and bringing the below projects to site next year.
Schemes will include:
Repurposing of a current block to accomodate a new facility
Demolition of an existing building
New build energy centre
Re-roofing projects
Any experience of working with Education clients and building projects previously would a huge advantage.
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong experience in framework contracts & agreements potentially NEC form of contract.
Experience working as a client-side Project Manager with excellent client facing experience
Experience of liaising with key stakeholders around planning applications and building regulations.
A qualification in a construction related subject & ideally MCIOB
Experience running projects from inception to completion.
Commerically aware and able to value engineer projects with good understanding of current market and trading conditions.
Strong attention to detail with strong background of documenting actions agreed with key stakeholders.
This role is deemed inside IR35, so will be paid via the Umbrella payroll solution. This is a long term appointment for the successful candidate.
