Job Description

Human Resources Representative

The Rallye Motor Company, Long Island’s leading luxury automotive group, is seeking a motivated and people-focused Human Resources Representative to join our HR team.

This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working with people, recruiting top talent, and being involved in the day-to-day HR operations of a growing organization. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

As a member of our HR team, you will work closely with employees and management across our dealerships, helping to support a positive workplace culture while ensuring a consistent and professional HR experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and candidate communication.
  • Provide support for the employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Handle employee events including health and wellness initiatives.
  • Handle administrative duties including scanning, filing and purging files.
  • Monitor monthly performance reviews to ensure timely completion and follow-through.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Serve as a resource to employees and management by responding to HR-related questions.
  • Assist with employee training and development initiatives.
  • Support employee engagement and recognition efforts and contribute to a positive and professional workplace culture.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience handling HR functions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related degree or, in lieu of BA degree will consider 5+ years of HR experience
  • Experience handling the full recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Working knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and employee relations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, approachable, and comfortable interacting with employees and management at all levels.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems; experience with an HRIS or applicant tracking system is a plus.

Preferred requirements include:

  • SHRM Certification
  • Automotive Experience

Rate of Pay: $25 to $35 hourly
