This employer is seeking a skilled PKI System Administrator to join a significant enterprise IT contract for the DOD. The role involves leading operations across multiple locations within a complex, multi-enclave network, ensuring the functionality of critical capabilities for government clients.
The Role
• Provide systems and software operations and maintenance support in a large, multi-enclave enterprise network.
• Manage Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) operations, including server maintenance, patching, upgrades, and implementation of new technologies.
• Interact with a diverse customer base, including senior executives, to handle inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide training.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to collect data, conduct analysis, and develop solutions for incident tickets and requirements.
• Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain PKI, RCVS, OCSP, and other Identity Management tools.
• Enforce security strategies and policies within the Identity and Access Management (IdAM) function.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with PKI technologies such as RCVS, OCSP, and Certificate Authorities.
• Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) concepts, token cards, and soft certificates for authentication and digital signing.
• Experience with Tier 2 system/server administration and troubleshooting soft certificate issues.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with experience interacting with various customer levels.
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.
• Possess or be eligible for a TS/SCI with Poly clearance; US Citizenship is required.
• Meet DoDM 8140.03 IT System Admin Intermediate certification requirements.
