Java Developer - Kotlin/Swift

Introduction:

This position requires an experienced Java Developer with expertise in Kotlin and Swift. The role involves working on backend development, microservices, REST APIs, and mobile application development in an enterprise software environment. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize 8-10 years of hands-on software development experience to work on Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices using Kotlin.
• Collaborate on Swift/iOS development projects and mobile application development.
• Apply expertise in OOP, design patterns, and data structures to enhance software solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality code.
• Work on enterprise application development and SQL/relational databases.
• Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and contribute to continuous integration and delivery processes.
• Work onsite 4 days per week in Fremont, CA.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 8-10 years of software development experience with Java expertise.
• Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
• Experience with Kotlin.
• Experience with Swift/iOS development or mobile application development.
• Understanding of design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SQL/relational databases and enterprise software.
• Familiarity with Git, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, and Agile/Scrum.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and code review skills.
