Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in SAP Data Migration to lead end-to-end data migration initiatives for SAP transformation programs. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience managing complex data migration projects across SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and cloud environments while coordinating cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and implementation partners.

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, execution, governance, risk management, stakeholder communication, and successful delivery of data migration workstreams within scope, budget, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP Data Migration projects from initiation through hypercare.
• Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and delivery schedules.
• Manage data migration activities including:
• Data Assessment
• Data Cleansing
• Data Mapping
• Data Transformation
• Data Validation
• Mock Loads
• Cutover Planning
• Go-Live Support
• Collaborate with Business Process Owners, Functional Consultants, Technical Teams, and System Integrators.
• Manage project governance including steering committee meetings and executive status reporting.
• Drive issue resolution, risk mitigation, and dependency management.
• Monitor project budget, resource utilization, and overall financial health.
• Ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology and PMO standards.
• Coordinate multiple vendors and offshore/onshore delivery teams.
• Lead project planning for migration cycles including mock conversions and production cutover.
• Ensure successful execution of data reconciliation and data quality validation.
• Facilitate project workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and stakeholder meetings.
• Prepare executive dashboards, RAID logs, project status reports, and KPI metrics.
• Manage change requests, scope control, and project documentation.
• Support audit and compliance requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead post-go-live stabilization and knowledge transfer activities.

Required Skills

• Strong experience managing SAP Data Migration programs.
• Experience with SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformation projects.
• Deep understanding of SAP Master Data and Transactional Data migration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• MBA or Master's degree preferred.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum certifications preferred.
• SAP certification is an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

• 10 15+ years of IT experience.
• 7+ years of Project Management experience.
• 5+ years leading SAP Data Migration initiatives.
• Experience managing multiple full-cycle SAP implementations.
• Experience in large-scale global transformation programs.
• Manufacturing, Retail, Automotive, Healthcare, Consumer Goods, or Life Sciences domain experience is preferred.
