3i People, Inc. is hiring an IT Infrastructure Project Coordinator for a growing technology services client in Alpharetta, GA. This onsite direct hire role supports enterprise infrastructure and field services projects, including deployments across multiple locations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable coordinating schedules, technicians, vendors, and project teams in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do:

• Coordinate daily project activities, work orders, deployment schedules, milestones, and deliverables across multiple customer locations.

• Maintain accurate trackers, resource calendars, documentation, and status updates for active projects.

• Monitor project progress, track open items, and help ensure deadlines and customer commitments are met.

• Schedule and dispatch field technicians, engineers, vendors, and service partners as needed.

• Verify technician availability, qualifications, certifications, and customer site requirements before assignments are made.

• Resolve scheduling conflicts, coverage gaps, and other day-to-day coordination issues.

• Communicate project updates, schedule changes, site readiness, and outstanding items to internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Escalate risks or delays promptly and help coordinate practical solutions to keep work moving forward.

• Assist with cost tracking, vendor and technician rate information, scope updates, and change-order documentation as needed.

• Support project closeout activities, reporting, and process improvements.

What you bring:

• Approximately 2+ years of experience in IT infrastructure project coordination, technical operations, field services, technician dispatch, or a similar environment.

• Experience coordinating schedules, resources, work orders, and multiple projects or service activities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across technical teams, vendors, project leadership, and customer stakeholders.

• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize shifting deadlines.

• Proactive problem-solving ability and a demonstrated capacity to take initiative without extensive supervision.

• A positive, energetic, and collaborative approach to working with others.

• Proficiency with spreadsheets, email, shared documentation, and project or service management systems.

• Ability to work onsite in Alpharetta, GA.

Nice to have:

• Experience in IT infrastructure, technology services, field services, managed services, or professional services.

• Familiarity with networking, wireless infrastructure, data centers, servers, switches, structured cabling, or hardware deployments.

• Experience supporting multi-site or national technology rollouts.

• Experience coordinating external field technicians, engineers, or subcontractors.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, CRM platforms, dispatch software, or project management tools.

• Exposure to project cost tracking, vendor coordination, or change-order documentation.
