Overview: The Client is seeking an experienced Ivanti Implementation Consultant to configure and implement Ivanti for help desk and IT asset inventory management. The consultant will be responsible for migrating existing inventory and asset data from BMC TrackIT or a similar platform, or setting up the inventory system from scratch, depending on project requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience implementing and configuring the cloud-hosted Ivanti platform and the ability to work directly with IT teams to ensure smooth implementation and transition.
Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, configure, and customize Ivanti for help desk and inventory management.
• Migrate inventory and asset data from BMC TrackIT or a similar help desk and asset management platform into Ivanti.
• Assess existing inventory data and determine migration requirements or a fresh setup approach.
• Validate migrated data, troubleshoot issues, and support a smooth system cutover.
• Collaborate with IT staff to gather requirements and ensure the platform meets operational needs.
• Provide knowledge transfer, documentation, and basic end-user training following implementation.

Required Skills:

• Proven hands-on experience implementing and configuring Ivanti, preferably its cloud-hosted edition.
• Strong experience with IT inventory and asset management setup.
• Experience migrating data from BMC TrackIT or similar help desk and asset management tools.
• Ability to work directly with client IT teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Strong troubleshooting, data validation, implementation, and knowledge-transfer skills.
