Senior Manager – Oracle Financials Solution Architect

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Oracle Financials Solution Architect to lead enterprise Oracle transformation initiatives and deliver innovative, cloud-based financial solutions. This role is responsible for partnering with business and technology stakeholders to define solution architecture, translate business requirements into scalable Oracle solutions, and lead complex implementation programs from strategy through execution.

The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in Oracle Financials, strong accounting knowledge, solution architecture, project leadership, and client engagement experience to successfully deliver large-scale Oracle Cloud implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Oracle Financials implementation and transformation engagements, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.

• Serve as the primary advisor to business stakeholders, gathering requirements and translating them into scalable Oracle solution designs.

• Design solution architecture that aligns with business objectives and enterprise technology standards.

• Lead client relationships, providing strategic guidance and managing executive-level communications throughout the project lifecycle.

• Manage multiple project workstreams, engagement economics, resource planning, budgets, and delivery risks.

• Drive proposal development, solution presentations, and pursuit activities for new business opportunities.

• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to develop integrated Oracle Financials solutions across enterprise applications.

• Lead project governance, risk management, issue resolution, and quality assurance throughout implementations.

• Mentor and coach consultants and project managers, fostering technical growth and delivery excellence.

• Facilitate stakeholder alignment across finance, technology, and business teams while managing expectations and driving successful outcomes.

• Lead SaaS implementation programs and ensure adherence to implementation methodologies and best practices.

• Support enterprise transformation initiatives by developing scalable business and technology architectures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''''s degree required; Master''''s degree preferred.

• 5–7+ years of experience implementing Oracle Financials solutions with progressively increasing leadership responsibilities.

• Extensive experience serving as a Solution Architect or Engagement Lead for Oracle Financials implementations.

• Strong understanding of Oracle Financials business processes and end-to-end process flows.

• Experience integrating Oracle Financials with Supply Chain, Human Capital Management (HCM), and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) applications.

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Financials configuration and functional solution design.

• Strong knowledge of SaaS implementation methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Proven experience leading large-scale digital transformation and enterprise implementation projects.

• Excellent stakeholder management, executive communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while balancing quality, timelines, and financial objectives.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop solutions for complex business challenges.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams while serving as both a leader and individual contributor.

• Willingness to travel up to 60% as required.

• Professional accounting background or prior experience working as an accountant.

• Experience leading enterprise-wide finance transformation initiatives.

• Expertise extending Oracle solution architecture beyond Financials into broader enterprise applications.

• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and business process optimization.

• Experience managing large consulting engagements and developing long-term client relationships.

• Proven track record of mentoring teams and developing future leaders.

• Oracle Cloud Financials certifications are a plus.
