Technical Lead- Application Operations
Remote Role
Fulltime/W2 -Infinite Computer Solutions

About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to oversee enterprise application operations, resolve complex production issues, improve application performance, and guide technical support teams. The role focuses on service reliability, automation, incident management, and security.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead critical incident resolution, technical escalations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot IIS-hosted applications on Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022, including legacy .NET Framework and current .NET applications.
  • Manage IIS sites, application pools, web services, authentication, SSL certificates, DNS, UNITY, and F5-related connectivity.
  • Analyze IIS logs, Failed Request Tracing, Windows Event Viewer, application logs, XML configuration files, and browser diagnostics.
  • Monitor application health and performance using Dynatrace and drive proactive issue prevention.
  • Troubleshoot Oracle 19c, SQL Server, and MySQL connectivity, queries, and application integrations.
  • Develop operational automation using PowerShell and Python, managing scripts and configuration artifacts through GitHub and CMVC.
  • Review software vulnerability scan results, recommend remediation, and support Windows patching and compliance requirements.
  • Mentor support engineers, maintain operational documentation, and coordinate with development, infrastructure, database, network, and security teams.
Required Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, IIS, and enterprise application production support.
  • Proven ability to lead complex incidents and troubleshoot across application, OS, database, network, and load-balancing layers.
  • Working knowledge of SQL/Oracle, Dynatrace, PowerShell, Python, and controlled change management.
  • Strong technical leadership, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud, on-premises, SaaS, or hybrid environments; Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, ITIL, Microsoft Copilot, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks such as PCI and SSAE 18.
