Are you an R&D Engineer or similar from a mechanical or electronics background, looking to for a truly unique role within an internationally recognised company, with clear progression paths to senior roles within 2 years?

In this role you will be designing and testing a broad range of alarm systems for use in commercial and residential properties globally. You will be working on a range of projects, testing equipment and bespoke products, creating mechanical designs, plus writing test software and firmware, with ongoing shadowing given.

Founded over 40 years ago, this company design and manufacturing safety systems across the globe, supplying into the likes of Liverpool FC, The Shard, and HSBC. Their goal to provide their safety systems into every building worldwide, making a genuine difference in the world.

This role would suit an R&D or Design Engineer, from either a mechanical or electronics background, looking to diversify their skill set and become a rounded Engineer with ongoing training.
The Role:

• Working on a variety of projects, designing test equipment and bespoke products
• Mechanical design of components using Autodesk Inventor
• Writing test software and firmware, electronic design using Altium, with training given
• Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week, flexible times between 7:30am - 5pm

• R&D / Design Engineer or similar
• Mechanical or electronics background
