Job Description

Purpose of the Role

Deliver an exceptional people experience by providing expert, commercially focused HR advice and support. You'll build trusted relationships, guide managers through complex people matters, and help create efficient, consistent ways of working that enable business success while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism. Working for a company who operate a employee centric approach and have won the best employers to work for on multiple occasions! The role can be worked largely remotely with travel to client sites around the South West when required, as well as attendance at a team meeting at head office once a month.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert HR advice across the full employee lifecycle, managing a varied and complex caseload.
  • Build strong relationships with leaders, acting as a trusted business partner and strategic advisor.
  • Coach and mentor colleagues to support their development and ensure a high-quality customer experience.
  • Support recruitment and talent planning, including senior-level appointments.
  • Advise on employment law, policies, and best practice, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, redundancy, restructures, TUPE, and organisational change.
  • Represent and support managers at formal meetings, hearings, appeals, and consultation processes.
  • Monitor casework, customer feedback, and performance data to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Share knowledge, champion best practice, and contribute to a positive, collaborative culture.
  • Keep up to date with employment legislation and identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
