This is a unique opportunity to work alongside financial advisors and CPAs to deliver a fully integrated wealth planning experience for high-net-worth clients.

The role offers a highly entrepreneurial platform for an attorney looking to establish and grow a sophisticated estate planning practice while serving as a trusted advisor on complex wealth transfer, tax, trust, and estate planning matters. The successful candidate will play a key role in the firm's long-term vision of providing comprehensive in-house planning services under one roof.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise high-net-worth clients on estate planning, wealth transfer, charitable giving, retirement planning, and related matters
  • Draft and oversee sophisticated estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and related instruments.
  • Partner closely with financial advisors, accountants, insurance professionals, and other client stakeholders to develop coordinated planning strategies.
  • Identify estate planning opportunities and provide customized solutions to meet clients' personal, tax, and legacy planning objectives.
  • Establish and operate a separate legal entity responsible for drafting and executing estate planning documents.
  • Participate in business development, client education initiatives, public speaking engagements, seminars, and thought leadership efforts.

Required Background:

  • J.D. and 5+ years of experience advising high-net-worth individuals on sophisticated estate planning matters.
  • Experience drafting complex wills, trusts, powers of attorney, premarital agreements, and related estate planning documents.
  • Knowledge of estate taxation, trust administration, and estate settlement matters.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability and willingness to build and lead a standalone estate planning practice.
  • Strong communication, client management, and relationship-building skills.

Candidates seeking a unique opportunity to build and lead an estate planning practice within a growing wealth management platform are encouraged to apply for immediate consideration.
