Job Description

Location: Bethesda, MD (Federal Client)

Duration: 1+ Years

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily operations, workforce schedules, and staff assignments.

  • Monitor support queues and balance workloads across the team.

  • Plan shift coverage and coordinate surge staffing.

  • Track incident escalations and follow through on resolution activities.

  • Maintain operational dashboards and provide daily performance updates.

  • Support continuity operations and staffing coverage during disruptions.

  • Assume delegated Project Manager responsibilities during absences.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, business, management, or a related field required.

  • 6 8+ years of experience in IT operations, service desk management, or federal help desk environments.

Technical Expertise

Queue management, shift planning, incident escalation, operational dashboards, surge staffing, and continuity operations.

Preferred Certifications

ITIL 4 Foundation; HDI Support Center Manager; PMP or CAPM.
