RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician in Corvallis, OR.
Summary:
Under limited supervision the Electro-Mechanical Technician independently builds, tests, and operates complex company products. This person exercises judgment on non-standard problems, contributes technical input to engineering and management, and may provide informal guidance to Technician I and II personnel.
Tasks Include:
* Builds simple and complex electro-mechanical equipment from supplied documentation with a high degree of independence
* Reviews, interprets, and executes complex technical procedures, drawings, and specifications; Identifies gaps or ambiguities and proposes resolutions
* Applies advanced manufacturing methods and assembly techniques; Identifies and recommends improvements to existing processes
* Plans and conducts performance testing and troubleshooting activities; Documents results and participates in root cause analysis
* Diagnoses and troubleshoots complex electro-mechanical problems; Develops and implements solutions with minimal engineering support
* Analyzes test results relative to design specifications; Recommends and performs equipment modifications or adjustments to meet performance targets
* Reviews project procedures, instructions, and specifications to identify, modify, and plan approaches for fabrication, assembly, and testing
* Provides technical input on potential design changes, manufacturing methods, and assembly process improvements to engineering and management
* Operates and calibrates precision measuring tools and test equipment; Ensures accuracy of measurements and data integrity
* Provides on-the-job guidance and task support to Technician I and II team members
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3-6 years of experience as a technician in a technically complex or regulated manufacturing environment
* Strong knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, assembly, and test methodologies
* Proficient in reading and interpreting complex blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
* Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex problems independently and recommend effective solutions
* Experience contributing technical input to process or design improvements
* Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to document work clearly and communicate effectively with engineers and management
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
