Systems Administrator with Security Clearance

* Working collaboratively with multiple technical teams (Information Assurance, Engineering, Testing, Configuration Management, Training). * Proposing and demonstrating technical approaches in alignment with military standards and specifications. * Working on multiple projects at once and managing priorities while communicating successes and challenges with the integrated technical team. * Adhering to prescribed configuration management for all coding. * Configure and build Toughbooks for USN and Foreign Military Sales shipments. * Evaluate hardware and software (OS, patches, STIGs) for obsolescence mitigation and cyber compliance. * Port application to new hardware and resolve existing trouble tickets * Collaborate with government personnel to set up the lab equipment to including software installation/updates and system configuration. * Support Information Assurance with MK41 Vertical Launch System equipment scans * Install new software (OS, patches, STIGs) to meet cyber compliance. * Creating and maintaining relevant documentation, such as Standard Operating Procedures, configurations (software and hardware), and related materials. Requirements * DOD 8140 certification at IAT Level II (Security + CE, CySA+, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP)
* BS degree in Computer Science, engineering, scientific, or technical discipline * Experience demonstrating the ability to engineer complex systems with integrated software and hardware solutions * Experience working with Windows operating systems - patching, scanning, STIGing, group policy modifications. * Five (5) years of experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems- patching, scanning, STIGing, group policy modifications. * Experience demonstrating the ability to engineer complex systems with integrated software and hardware solutions. * Debugging and performance optimization skills to garner processing efficiencies by avoiding or quickly identifying bottlenecks, memory leaks, and general inefficiencies in processing. * Active Secret security clearance.
