Our client, a leading organisation in the retail sector, is seeking a dynamic Payroll & Benefits Administrator to join their Human Resources department. This exciting role offers the opportunity to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll and employee benefits across the group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process monthly payroll data for all employees.
- Accurately record and submit new starters, leavers, and contractual changes within payroll deadlines.
- Verify payroll information, including salaries, commissions, and statutory payments.
- Process parental and sickness payments in accordance with regulations.
- Administer company benefit schemes such as private medical insurance, life assurance, and pension plans.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and employment laws.
Person Specification:
Essential Skills:
- Previous experience with Sage 50 payroll administration.
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation and statutory payments.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office with strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience within a multi-site business or the automotive retail sector.
