Senior Data Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in Atlanta, GA that is seeking an onsite Senior Data Analyst with 7+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision support. This role focuses on data extraction, ETL development, SQL and Python programming, dashboard creation, and advanced analytics to support leadership decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex data to identify trends, risks, and actionable insights
• Extract, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources to support reporting and analytics
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, ETL processes, data models, and curated datasets
• Create dashboards, visualizations, and business intelligence solutions using Power BI and other BI tools
• Support ad hoc analysis, recurring reporting, and KPI development
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear reports and presentations
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and reliability through validation and testing
• Lead small analytical workstreams, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with client and project stakeholders
• Drive process automation and continuous improvement of reporting and analytics capabilities

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Business, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, business intelligence, data engineering, or related analytical roles
• 5+ years of finance or accounting experience
• 3+ years of experience with Python (pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, etc.) and advanced DAX/M-language development
• Experience with statistical modeling, financial forecasting, and workflow automation
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data extraction, ETL processes, data transformation, and integration
• Hands-on experience developing datasets, dashboards, and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI
• Knowledge of business intelligence, reporting, and data visualization best practices
• Ability to perform complex data analysis and present insights to technical and business stakeholders
• Experience creating ad hoc and recurring reports, supporting decision-making, and leading small analytical teams or workstreams
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills in a fast-paced, client-facing environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
