Software Engineer II - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer II for a hybrid position (2-3 days onsite) with a Leading Consumer Electronics Retailer located in Richfield, MN. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

Compensation: $47.00 - $53.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:
This role is part of a team responsible for integrating with third-party partners to share information related to advertising. The team utilizes Google Cloud Tools such as Dataflow, BigQuery, and Airflow, as well as an AWS footprint for new APIs. The ideal candidate will help build a reusable framework for data integrations with a focus on resiliency and modularity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with a team of engineers to help build out a reusable framework for handling data integrations with a focus on resiliency, system health visibility and modularity
• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation, handling external questions, monitoring system health, and managing administrative tasks
• Work with other engineers to build out features and functionality as we progress on our roadmap

Primary Requirements:

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform using tools such as Dataflow, BigQuery, Airflow, Cloud Functions
• Experience working with integration patterns/tools such as SFTP, S3, GCS Buckets, PGP Encryption
• Experience using Agentic AI workflow tools to write code
• Experience with various Databases (BigQuery, Big Table, Oracle, Mongo, and Postgres)
• 3-5+ years of experience with Java and Python

Desired skills:

• Proficiency with domain driven development, design patterns and data movement patterns
