The Role

• Design and development of subsea components and sensors.
• Creation of construction instructions and manufacturing documentation using 3D CAD.
• Derivation of norm-compliant drawings and further manufacturing documentation, including presentations.
• Active support and management of the development process, from digital mockup to production support.
• Installation planning, design, and documentation of hydroacoustic components for various subsea platforms.
• Creation and maintenance of SAP parts lists and documentation.
• Close collaboration within interdisciplinary development teams.
• Serving as a technical point of contact for business units.

What You'll Need

• Successfully completed university degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable qualification.
• Professional experience as a mechanical engineer or designer, ideally in subsea construction.
• Experience with sonar systems or offshore subsea systems is desirable.
• Good knowledge of materials and production technology.
• Proficient user of Siemens NX12.
• Familiarity with MS Office products.
• Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Confident and reliable demeanor.
• Strong team and communication skills.
• Willingness to undergo a security background check.
