Job DescriptionSecurity Officer - Vehicle Patrol Officer-$18/hr- Lancaster, PA\n\nSeeking a Vehicle Patrol Security Officer and play a vital role in ensuring the security of a construction site.

As part of our team, you’ll perform access control, routine foot patrols, vehicle patrols, ensure protection of our client’s assets, and maintain a secure environment while upholding the standards of Cardinal Point Security Group.\n\nSchedule:\n6:30 AM to 6:30 PM\nAvailability to work weekends as scheduled is required\n\nDuties & Responsibilities:\n\n Be an Ambassador for Cardinal Point Security Group: Be punctual and professional, maintain a sharp appearance in proper uniform, stay engaged and provide consistent, reliable service.\n Access Control: Scan arriving employees each day, man/monitor entrances and exits\n Foot Patrol: Perform thorough foot patrols as required by the assignment.\n Route Schedule: Follow a set patrol route and adhere to the schedule\n Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or suspicious activity, following established protocols.\n Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and activities.\n Collaborate with on-site management and emergency services as needed\n\nQualifications:\n\n Hard-soled work boots are required for this location\n Minimum 2 years of security experience; prior experience in a related field is preferred.\n High School Diploma or GED\n\nBackground Requirements:\n\n Completion of a criminal background check and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.\n No felony or misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude.\n Must be able to pass a mandatory drug screen\n\nSkills:\n\n Strong observational and problem-solving abilities.\n Excellent communication and customer service skills.\n Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective under pressure.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\n Capability to stand post for the entire shift\n Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking and standing during patrols.\n\nBenefits:\n\n Paid Mandatory Training\n Accrued Sick Time\n Employee Recognition Program\n 401K eligibility after six months of employment\n\nTo ensure Cardinal Point's commitment to a drug-free workplace, employees may be subject to random drug tests
