We areseeking an experienced Product Manager - Pricing to own and drive the product strategy, roadmap, and continuous improvement of pricing systems and price management platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in B2B or distribution environments, with a deep understanding of pricing structures, quote-level pricing logic, and the impact of pricing accuracy and speed on quote-to-order conversion.
The Product Manager will work closely with engineering, business stakeholders, sales, and commercial teams to deliver scalable pricing capabilities that support business growth and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for pricing systems and price management platforms.
• Partner closely with engineering teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and deliver pricing solutions.
• Understand and manage pricing capabilities, including:
  • List pricing and price lists.
  • Discount structures and pricing rules.
  • Contract pricing and customer-specific pricing.
  • Project-based pricing.
  • Quote-level pricing logic and calculations.
• Translate business and customer needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, finance, and commercial stakeholders to identify pricing challenges and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure pricing systems deliver accurate, timely, and consistent pricing across the quote-to-order process.
• Analyze how pricing accuracy, pricing speed, and pricing flexibility impact quote-to-order conversion and customer experience.
• Define and track product KPIs related to pricing accuracy, processing speed, adoption, and business outcomes.
• Manage product backlog, prioritize enhancements, and coordinate releases with engineering and QA teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve pricing automation, scalability, integration, and operational efficiency.
• Support stakeholder communication, product demos, roadmap reviews, and change management activities.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, or Product Owner working on pricing products, pricing engines, or price management platforms.
• Experience in a B2B, manufacturing, distribution, or commercial pricing environment.
• Strong understanding of list pricing, discount structures, contract pricing, project pricing, and quote-level pricing logic.
• Experience owning product roadmaps and managing product lifecycles.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with engineering teams to deliver complex pricing capabilities.
• Strong understanding of quote-to-order processes and the role of pricing in sales conversion.
• Experience gathering requirements, defining user stories, prioritizing backlogs, and managing product releases.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with pricing engines, CPQ platforms, ERP pricing modules, or enterprise price management solutions.
• Familiarity with pricing integrations across CRM, ERP, CPQ, order management, and e-commerce platforms.
• Experience working with complex B2B pricing models and customer-specific commercial agreements.
• Knowledge of pricing analytics, pricing governance, and data quality.
• Experience in manufacturing, lighting, electrical products, or distribution industries is a plus.
