Software Engineer

Pay Range: $70 - $90/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

\n\n

\n
• Drive and own investigations into observed product defects, coordinating with subject matter experts.
\n
• Determine the cause, impact, and severity of each issue, including affected users and interfacing systems.
\n
• Define steps to reproduce issues and identify existing mitigations.
\n
• Document risks of unresolved issues and route gaps to the risk owner.
\n
• Coordinate triage of new issue records, ensuring duplicates are closed with rationale.
\n
• Maintain issue records in JIRA as auditable quality records.
\n
• Hold cross-functional peers accountable to deadlines to ensure project completion.
\n
• Escalate critical product issues for review or nonconformance management.
\n
• Perform other duties as requested.
\n

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

\n\n

\n
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or related field.
\n
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field and/or equivalent experience.
\n
• Experience in a regulated industry (medical, pharmaceutical, automotive) is highly preferred.
\n
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Office applications.
\n
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
\n
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
\n
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
\n
• Team player with outstanding customer service skills.
\n
